The Watch Source Pre-Owned Warranty
TWSPO guarantees that all watches are 100% genuine and in good working order as expected by both us and our dealers. TWSPO offers a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise. Warranty coverage will be described on the website for the watch. If you are unsure about the coverage, call 01442 801130 and one of our team will discuss the details with you.

Covered under warranty:

  • Manufacturing malfunctions
  • Material defects
  • Battery replacements
  • Parts and labour

Not covered under warranty:

  • Damage to the case such as scratches or nicks.
  • Crystal or glass damage.
  • Strap damage due to excessive wear.
  • Damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the manufacturer’s water resistance.
  • Damage due to physical and/or accidental mistreatment.

Where possible we will try and obtain watches that will still have time left on the manufacturer’s warranty. If the manufacturer’s warranty is still valid, the warranty will be honoured for the remainder of time that is left, whether that is 3 years of a 5 year Rolex warranty or 1 year of a 4 year Omega warranty or 3 months on a 3 year Breitling model for example.

If a watch comes with a manufacturer’s warranty that has a remaining period of less than a year, a warranty with TWSPO will be given for the remainder of the time between the manufacturer’s warranty and 1 year. For example if a pre-owned Rolex is being sold and has 8 months of manufacturer’s warranty left, the TWSPO warranty will be in place for the remaining 4 months.

If a watch is being sold as a pre-owned piece and isn’t still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, a TWSPO warranty will be in place for a period of 1 year. This warranty will cover all problems as listed above.

Warranties that are still in place with the manufacturer can be handled directly between the customer and the brand, although we will be more than happy to assist you if needs be. Warranties that are in place with TWSPO must be handled directly through TWSPO only. Any attempt to open or repair the watch by a third party will invalidate both the manufacturer’s warranty and TWSPO warranty. It is at the discretion of TWSPO to decide if the warranty repair shall be handled by a partnered watchmaker or the manufacturer’s service centre.

Warranties must be given an RAN. Please call 01442 801130 prior to sending the watch back to us to receive a RAN. RANs must be placed on a covering note with the watch that also details the issues experienced. For warranty returns we will just need the watch. The customer should keep all original boxes etc.

Postage and insurance costs for warranty returns to TWSPO must be covered by the customer. Returns must be sent via a traceable, insured and reliable courier method. A return address must be provided along with the watch. In case of loss or damages, you the customer is liable. Once the watch is repaired, we will return it to the customer at our expense.

Faulty Goods:

If you receive goods which you believe to have been sent to you not as advertised (e.g. faulty or misdescribed), Please call 01442 801130 as soon as possible. We will issue you with a RAN, and further instructions. This will enable us to deal with the problem efficiently. We will not accept any liability for damage arising from adjustments made by the customer or a third party.
