The Métiers d'Art - La Symbolique Des Laques collection is devoted to the natural beauty of the seasons. For each model in the collection a front & back dial is created. The workmanship to create these dials took a total of more than 7 years!

• MAKI-E enameled dials: produced by artisians from the house of Zôhiko, masters in the art of "maki-e" style enamel painting. The art begins while the base paint has not yet dried, is then sprinkled with gold or silver powder to create unique designs. 
• HANAMI - SPRING: 
  • The front dial is decorated with blossoming & flourishing flowers.
  • The back dial is decorated with flowing long willow branches & with a typical Japanese bridge straddling the water.

Case: Polished 18kt rose gold case. Black decorated enameled front & black dial. Central dial cutout on both the front & back dials for a partial view of the skeletonized movement. Polished rose gold hands. 

Strap: Fitted on its original Vacheron Constantin rolled-edge black alligator leather strap with a solid 18kt rose gold buckle. The strap is unworn with its full wear lifespan remaining.

Movement: Powered by a manual winding Vacheron Constantin caliber 1003 SQ. The movement is skeletonized in 14kt yellow gold & ruthenium plated. The movement beats at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz), composed of 117 parts, contains 18 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 30 hours. The movement meticulously finished & is stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark. 

Condition: This watch comes from a private collector who carefully stored it but never wore it. Since we found the watch to be running slightly slow, so we sent it to Vacheron Constantin for a full factory service, completed in early September 2025. Since its factory service the watch has not been worn. As part of the service, Vacheron Constantin performed a light polish, returning the watch to new condition. We would now be comfortable rating this watch at 99%+ overall condition. The watch is delivered in its original oversized lacquered wood box with all accompanying papers. Also included is a Vacheron Constantin-branded service pouch along with a copy of the factory service letter & receipt.
