EXTENDED RETURN POLICY
- Beginning from November 8th our EXTENDED RETURN POLICY will take effect. Purchases made from November 8th until December 24th may be returned up until January 8th 2008.
- All other terms and conditions remain in effect (see below).
- Please remember that if you would like to return or exchange an item purchased during the above period, you must call customer service on 01442 419634 for a RAN# (Return Authorization Number).
- Our normal 14 day Return Policy will take effect on all orders placed or received after December 24th.
This extension does not apply to “Special Order Items"; you will be notified at the time of purchase if the item is a “Special Order Item”.
TheWatchSource.co.uk specializes in the sale of brand new products only. We can not sell watches that have been worn. Therefore we have set a firm but fair policy regarding returns.
We accept returns within 14 days of customers' receipt of product. This is dependent upon the Watch, pen or watch winder being in the exact same condition as it left us. To confirm:-
ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED TO US IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH ALL PROTECTIVE PLASTICS/TAPE, HANG TAGS & ACCESSORIES INTACT. UNTIL YOU ARE POSITIVE YOU WILL BE KEEPING THE WATCH, DO NOT WEAR IT. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR A WATCH TO BE WORN, EVEN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, AND FOR THE WATCH NOT TO BE BLEMISHED OR SCRATCHED IN ANY WAY.
We believe that the conditions below are reasonable, fair and quite simple. If for some reason one or multiple conditions cannot be met, please call and we will try to help, BUT you must call before and receive authorization. You will be notified at the time of purchase, if your order is a special order item and the above policy may not apply - in which case the sale will be final & non-refundable.
1. All returns must have a Return Authorization No. (RAN#). Please call 01442 419634 prior to return for the RAN#. This number must be displayed on the outside of the box; this will expedite your return. A watch returned without authorization will be refused.
2. Must not have the bracelet adjusted (i.e. links removed or straps cut). Unless Adjusted by us on your behalf.
3. All products must be returned with original packaging, manuals, protective tape & hang tags and with appropriate papers etc.
4. Returns will be credited in full minus a 3% restocking fee and the original Postage & insurance charges (Postal Charges - £9.95 for Royal Mail Special Delivery, - £40.00 for FedEx Next Day Delivery).
5. Restocking charges are waived on an exchange.
6. Credit will be issued in the same form as payment received. Credits are issued within 5 days of receipt of a return.
7. Returns must be sent via a traceable, insured reliable method (Do not return goods via FedEx, FedEx does not insure watches or jewellery valued above £50). Return postage must be pre-paid and fully insured for the amount you expect credit – In case of loss or damages, you the customer is liable.
8. Once you have been issued with a RAN #, you must send the watch back so that we receive it within 7 days of us issuing the RAN #.
Warranty:-
WatchSource Warranty
TheWatchSource.co.uk confirms all watches to be brand new, genuine and free of defects. Every watch description states the warranty period & if the watch warranty is covered by The Watchsource.co.uk or the manufacturer. In the case of Watch Source Warranty cover the manufacturers warranty card will not be supplied.
TheWatchSource.co.uk has chosen not to be an authorized dealer of any brand name manufacturer. Being an authorized dealer requires us selling watches at the manufacturers set retail price.
TheWatchSource.co.uk offers a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase - unless stated otherwise. The warranty covers malfunctions due to manufacturing or material defects, battery replacement & water resistance under regular use within the manufacturer’s specifications.
The warranty does not cover damages such as scratches, finish, crystals or glass, leather or fabric straps, damage due to excessive wear & tear, damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations & damage due to physical and/or accidental abuse. Neither our own warranty nor the Manufacturers own warranty covers these items.
All warranty repairs must be handled directly through TheWatchSource.co.uk. Watches opened or repaired by any other source will void all warranties. TheWatchSource.co.uk will cover all parts and labour or replace the watch at our own discretion within the warranty period.

Manufacturer Warranty
In some circumstances TheWatchSource. Is able to provide a Worldwide covered authorized dealer stamped warranty card, in which case the watch will be covered by the manufacturers stated warranty.
When the manufacturer’s warranty is included with the watch, pen or watch winder - warranty service shall be handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer via any authorized dealer. The watch will include a manufacturer’s original endorsed warranty card.
The WatchSource warranty will not take effect if the watch supplied to you comes with the original manufacturer’s warranty. However we are always keen to look after our customers so feel free to contact us with any issues or questions you may have.

We deliver to the following areas:-

Delivery is £9.95 for Royal Mail Special Delivery Next day UK Orders and £40.00 for FedEx 1 – 2 days International Priority to the rest of the EU.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery which is fully insured for UK orders and by FedEx for EU orders – We cover these parcels with our own third party insurer as FedEx have no insurance cover for goods over £50.

Once dispatched it is a guaranteed next day service Monday to Saturday (except when being delivered to a work address). Please note over all Bank Holiday orders may be slightly disrupted (dependant on your local Royal Mail service).

There are no deliveries on a Sunday.

Once an order has left our office an automated email will be sent to you with the courier tracking information. You can trace your package at Royal Mail. Or alternatively at FedEx.

A Signature will be required for all dispatches.

We will dispatch to your work address only as a second option, for this request a company headed fax must be received with full company information including VAT Registration, Company Registration number and Landline phone number of the office to which you require delivery. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to a work address should the information you provide not satisfy our request.

Next Day Delivery (For items in stock)
These items will be dispatched the same day if ordered before 3:00pm and you will receive it the next day before 1pm.
Estimated 4 Day Delivery
These items are readily available from our sources & are usually deliverable within 4 working days of receiving your order. Although not expected there may be additional delays. We will let you know once you place your order if there will be additional delays.
Estimated 14 Day Delivery
These items are readily available from our sources & are usually deliverable within 14 working days of receiving your order. Although not expected there may be additional delays. We will let you know once you place your order if there will be additional delays.
Estimated 30 Day Delivery
These items are readily available from our sources & are usually deliverable within 30 working days of receiving your order. Although not expected there may be additional delays. We will let you know once you place your order if there will be additional delays.
Before 9:30am Delivery
This is an option for all deliveries once in stock instead of being delivered by 1pm it will arrive before 9:30am. The cost for this option is £20 per item. Please note choosing this option will not speed up delivery beyond the current estimated delivery date, it purely means it will be delivered by the “Royal Mail Special Delivery 9:30am service” instead of the “Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm service”.
BFPO Addresses
We also offer delivery to all military personnel using BFPO addresses throughout the world. We will also remove VAT if shipping to a foreign location where VAT is not applicable.
