As the longest hand passes out of the segmented zone, the middle hand enters pointing to the middle segment & beginning to indicate the seconds from 20-40.
Finally the shortest hand passes though pointing to the inner most segment indicating the seconds between 40-60.
Date sub-dial located between the 4 & 6 o'clock position.
