The VC Historiques Aronde 1954 is a model inspired by a watch produced by VC during the post world-war II years. The word "Aronde" is an old French word for a swallows wings - which embodies the rounded & curved case design. This watch will be produced in strictly limited numbers (although not a limited/numbered edition).This watch features:
18kt rose gold case with a brushed finished top & polished finished beveled corners & sides.
Very fine linear hand-engraved guilloche texture pattern, alternating between horizontal & vertical segments evenly divided into 4 segments.
Applied polished rose gold hour markers in a combination of indexes & Arabic Numerals.
Flat silvered recessed sub-dial.
Polished rose gold hands.
Slightly recessed small seconds sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position.
Cambered/domed sapphire crystal.
Vacheron Constantin in-house produced manual winding caliber 1400 AS, beats at 28,800 vph, composed out of 98 parts, contains 20 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 40 hours.
